Corporate Philosophy
FRAKO, as a medium-sized technology company, offers its customers products and services for the responsible and thrifty use of energy. Our primary aims in doing this are to protect the environment, make effective use of resources and improve cost efficiency. We reduce energy consumption and demonstrate ways to increase energy efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions in our customers’ installations. For this purpose we develop, manufacture and sell power factor correction systems, power capacitors, harmonics filters and energy management systems.
Decades of development work with an uncompromising focus on quality have laid the firm foundation for our high quality products with their long service lives and outstanding serviceability and reliability. These products, in combination with a technical service tailored to meet specific customer needs, enable us to offer complex system solutions from a single source. Our own expectations for our customer service call for undisputed leadership in both excellence and technology in our specialized market.
By installing and using our products in our own factory we aim to promote the considerate use of materials and energy by setting a good example while continuing our development and improvement work.
Our activities are customer-oriented and centre on their requirements and special wishes. We commit ourselves fully to pursuing our key goals: compliance with statutory regulations, honouring undertakings given to customers when specifying technical solutions, ongoing product development, product reliability, adherence to schedules and delivery dates and maintaining supply availability.
When selecting materials for our products and specifying manufacturing procedures we ensure that due regard is paid to protecting the environment and using resources sparingly.
Right from the start of their training, our young employees are imbued with the need to practice these virtues. Through ongoing education, training and information programs we support our workforce in accomplishing their tasks. This creates a special bond between the employees and the company with its objectives, thus boosting motivation and constituting a key factor in the success of the company. All staff are obliged to join in the process of continual improvement and optimization. The company management takes the lead by applying social skills and setting a good example.
Our investors are in full agreement with our global corporate goals and provide sustained support through a long-term approach when deciding on investments, capacities and returns on capital.
Corporate governance is organized as a complex management system based on and described by ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 16001. As outward manifestation of this management policy, the company is regularly monitored and certified by external auditors. The management system constantly provides all employees with up-to-date information through an internal network.
In the 4th quarter of each year the management sets out the budget and targets for the subsequent business year. The employees are consulted regarding the company’s plans and objectives, and throughout the year are regularly updated on the extent to which the set targets have been achieved. A risk management system is in place, and this is reviewed at least four times yearly in order to identify, at an early stage, potential risks emerging through markets, customers, competitors, current world politics and the global economy, and to take effective action to counteract these.
Our corporate philosophy brings about a motivated workforce, who develop, manufacture and sell safe, long-lasting products. These fulfil the needs of our customers for a responsible use of resources and energy while protecting the environment as completely as possible. We raise our customers’ potential for increasing energy efficiency, cutting energy consumption and reducing CO2 emissions.
